Only what your account can see. SIINC captures what the connected account is allowed to see, and nothing more.
Keep your copy of a project that lives in someone else's platform.
SIINC lets subcontractors, trades and design consultants back up the Procore, Autodesk Forma and BIM 360, and Oracle Aconex projects their account is a member of, into storage their own company owns. You work inside the head contractor's Procore, the owner's Aconex or the lead designer's Autodesk hub. When the project closes your access goes, along with the RFIs, submittals and mail behind your claims and your design.

What subcontractors and consultants answer for after closeout
- Payment claims, variations and the final account, supported by records you hold.
- Your design and your advice, for as long as you can be held liable for them.
- Answering a notice of claim years after your last site visit.
- Records kept outside a platform you do not control.
Questions subcontractors and consultants get asked about someone else's platform
- Can a subcontractor back up a Procore project owned by the head contractor?
- Yes, if your account is a member of the project and the account owner approves it. SIINC backs up the projects your account is a member of, subject to your permissions, and in Aconex that includes projects owned by another organisation. When the project sits in another company's account, that account owner's admin approves the SIINC connection.
- What happens to our records when the head contractor removes our access?
- Everything SIINC captured before then stays in your storage. SIINC can only capture what your account can see, so set the backup up while you still have access.
- How do we prove what we submitted and what came back?
- Open the submittal or RFI in the SIINC portal. Submittals, RFIs and their responses, Aconex mail and workflows, and Autodesk reviews and transmittals are all selectable modules.
- Does a subcontractor need its own cloud account to use SIINC?
- Yes, an Amazon S3 bucket or Azure Blob Storage container that your company owns. AWS or Azure bill you for storage at your own rates, and the backups stay yours.
- Is it worth backing up only a few projects with SIINC?
- Most teams start small, with one platform and a few projects on Standard. SIINC charges per GB per month on what it backs up, and you add platforms as you go.

Subcontractor and consultant backup questions
Subcontractor and consultant backup questions
Yes. There is nothing to install, and setup takes under 30 minutes. You authorise the platform, add credentials for one S3 bucket or Blob container and pick what to back up, and on a demo we run the first backup with you on a live project.
Not when it backs up. Backups only read from the source platform and write to your storage. SIINC writes into a platform only when someone runs a restore, and the head contractor's or owner's admin approves the SIINC connection in the first place.
Yes. A trial workspace comes with a storage quota so you can run real backups against a live project before you commit.
Start a trial workspace or book a demo and we will run the first backup with you.
