No. The tool copies the project into the target hub. The source stays where it is.
Move a BIM 360 or Autodesk Forma project to another hub, intact.
Changing region, consolidating accounts or handing a project to another company's hub. The Migration Tool copies a BIM 360 or Autodesk Forma project, and 24 of its modules into the target hub, with every file version and every cross-reference rewired to the new IDs.
- Modules
- 24
- Regions
- US, EMEA, AUS, JP
- File versions
- All of them
Reads, checks, then starts.
Nothing is written to the target hub until you confirm.
Step 1 of 4
Choose the credential
Each migration runs as one registered Autodesk Platform Services app plus your own consent. Stored once, reused across jobs.
Step 2 of 4
Pick the source project
A hub you administer, then the project to copy. Listing a hub's projects needs an account admin.
Step 3 of 4
Pick the target hub and name
Any hub the credential administers, in the same region or another. The new name is prefilled and editable.
Step 4 of 4
Watch the ledger
Every item type shows what was downloaded and created, with failed and skipped items called out. Pacing against Autodesk rate limits is shown, not hidden.

What the Autodesk Replication Tool leaves behind.
Autodesk's own answer is the Replication Tool, a technology preview that copies files and models between projects, including across regions. It does not copy issues, RFIs or permissions. Autodesk Bridge cannot share files between projects in different regions.
